Sorry it’s been a while since I blogged. The start of a new semester is always a crazy time. Not to mention syllabus shock! I know I’ll get through it, but I’m a little overwhelmed at the moment.
Alright, so I’m trying a new series called Friday Favorites where I talk about some new items I recently purchased that I love. These more than likely will not be every Friday, just when I have something worth sharing 🙂
The first thing I’ll be sharing is a new cardigan I got from American Eagle. This is the softest thing ever! You can wear it either buttoned up or unbuttoned. It’s the perfect length and can go with just about anything—you can dress it up or down. I bought a medium and it fits pretty true to size. It was originally $44.95, but when I bought it, it was 50% off! Now it’s on sale for $19.99, so it’s even cheaper. They have three colors to select from, but the sizing is a little limited so if you’re wanting one, head on over ASAP!
The next item is this sign from World Market. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this sign!!! It’s the perfect chippy white, farmhouse style sign. So many of my favorite bloggers have it in their home and I just had to have it too. It was actually fairly cheap at $14.99 (I had a 10% off coupon as well.) We don’t have any World Market stores near Lexington and the closest one to my school is in Carmel (about 45 minutes away.) So I ordered it online the day before I left to go back to school and chose in-store pickup. I just stopped in Carmel on the way back to school to pick it up—super easy! It’s now hanging above our sink in the kitchen and I love it!
The last items are a few things I recently got from the Magnolia Hearth and Hand Line at Target. I got the cream and sugar cellars and I LOVE them!! Like literally obsessed. They’re so stinking cute and actually functional. I also bought this pale green striped kitchen towel. It’s perfect for the upcoming spring season or could even work for Christmastime.
Also random side note, did you hear!?!?! CHIP AND JOANNA GAINES ARE PREGNANT!!!!!! I’m so happy for them! That beautiful baby will be so loved and I can’t wait to see whether it’s a boy or girl.
